Let’s say we have a client section and would like to measure its statistics separate from the guest section, how is this pulled off?

You would need a separate license and installation of Mint. But, assuming both sections are on the same domain the unique visitor counts will be inaccurate because of the shared cookies. Setting up the second section’s Mint on a subdomain should work around this problem though.
I believe I’m having the same issue, except removing the MintAuth cookies didn’t help. I’m trying to track a subdomain: http://valley.newhavenindependent.org
with a new install and have the original install for newhavenindependent.org
How would I set a different cookie so that it all works?
