/mint/?js

I’m wondering while most of the sites using Mint got the following script source in the head: /mint/?js while I have to place: http://cgi.provider.de/userneame/user-cgi-bin/mint/?js.

This might depend on different directories for the site and mint.

But when entering such a mint/?js-file from any page it shows a lot of content. Opening http://cgi.provider.de/userneame/user-cgi-bin/mint/?js. just shows: Mint is ignoring you as requested.

I’m not sure if some problems with the download counter are related to that.

Any idea?

I’m not really following what your saying. If you have a full URL instead of a relative, that’s only because Mint isn’t installed in the root directory of your site.

Is there a problem here? It might help to include a URL of a page actually experiencing the issue.

Thanks for the info about the full URL. This is what I thought about. (Sorry, I don’t have much experience with databases etc.)

About the different ?js-file: Here is the link to mine: http://cgi.snafu.de/~jewin_snafu.de/use … n/mint/?js

And her for example to another: haveamint.com/mint/?js

Looks different. And I’m just wondering if my Mint is installed serious.

Jens, things look like they are running fine.

The reason you are receiving the message Mint is ignoring you as requested. is because you have selected for your Mint install to ignore you.

Your Mint is doing as its told, and ignoring you. Where as the code in the haveamint.com/mint/?js file is not ignoring you, it is tracking you.

Yep, things are often this simple. Thanks!
