I uesed Mint 2.07 and the site worked fine. Last week I made a update to Mint 2.08. Now, if I look at my Website I got the error from the IE 6 that the website can not be indicated. In all other browsers (safari, opera, netscape, IE for mac, firefox) the site works fine. If I delete the two lines from the footer the site work also fine.

What can I do?

That’s strange, try updating to Mint 2.09 (if 2.08 was causing a problem 2.07 and earlier should have been as well).

Strike that, it’s come to my attention that 2.09 will prevent the body background color from being drawn behind the entire window in Safari (this slipped by during testing because all of my sites either have a white background or apply a background color to the HTML element). I will post another update shortly.

Xposted from “Mint, not for a production site”:

The past months I got various complaints from people not being able to reach my site. They got the error “could not connect” and couldn’t reach any page of my site. Today I discovered this was caused by Mint. After I removed Mint (the javascript call) all problems where gone. It seems I’m running 2.04 although I’m always the first one to update… weird.

Mint 2.1 should take care of this issue.
