Display average visits and feed subscribers on site

Hi,

Can I somehow display the last month’s or week’s unique visitor and feed subscription data on my site?

Idealy I would like a PHP code that would 1) retreive this data from the Mint database, 2) cache it in /.cache/mint.txt for three hours, and 3) display the cached information on my site.

Does anyone have a script like this, or would like to write one?

I’m switching away from feedburner as I want control over the email subscribers and simple support for multiple feed variations (don’t want to burn a feed for each). The only think I miss is having a clean and simple way to display subscriber count.

Ideally, it would be great to have a Mint chicklet image a la Feedburner which can be included to display subscriber count. Good press for Mint and equivalent functionality. Perhaps this could even be a pepper which auto-generates an image that can be included.

What would the SQL request be to query the avg monthly Birdfeeder subscriber count? In the interim I can simply place this in my footer .php
