Hi Forum!

Thanks for a very cool and great product!

I’m trying the Download pepper using the Method 2: Automatic Redirect.

Without any succes, this plug would be very usefull for me ;o)

I added the file extension as req. (sit)

And Enabled the automatic redirection.

But nothing beeing tracked.

My .sit files are on my Site Domain (added in mint preferences) in a directory.

I have tried the Method 1: Manual Redirect with succes, but that includes a lot of work when i have many files needed tracked.

Best regards Lyden

We can’t help you without a link to your downloads-page.

Method #2 works only with HTML Links.

Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply!

I understand, but if I use a simple html page with a direct link to the .sit, like this : lyden.biz/test.html

I dosent track the file, when downloaded ?

I assume its a path issue, but i dont know!

Best regards Lyden

I’m having difficulty making this work on my own site. The downloads are available here: myglasseye.net/sets/downloads.html

I’ve selected automatic redirection and I’ve turned off ‘Don’t count my visits’. The other download counter available has no problem seeing my own download of a file but this Pepper never sees it.

What am I doing wrong? I’d like to see them both working so I can decide which one to ditch.

The problem is that your using another download counter.
Tell me, if you want detailed information.

It wasn’t working before I installed the other one. Also, didn’t see anything about how it wouldn’t work if you had another download counter installed.

What should I do to make it work, after I disable the other counter?

I guess an update to 103 and disabling the other download counter will solve your issue.
