Nothing Happens

When using the User Agents 007 pepper, i expect that clicking on the User Agent will show me a break-down of that User Agent.

However, all that happens is that i get a nice little “something is happening” circle icon and then nothing happens.

Is something supposed to happen?

Your Mint installation is protected by an http auth request. This is not a supported set-up. I cannot reach your Mint installation to diagnose the problem. Additionally, visitors on your site are probably receiving the same auth request on every page that you are tracking with Mint.

My god! When i set up Mint, i set it up in a protected folder.

When i realised that it need to be publicly available, i deleted and re-installed it in a non-protected directory.

Since then, although i managed to re-install it, i also got these nasty http auth requests. I began to make a post here but found that some changes to the DB fixed this.

So, at the moment, Mint is installed on a publicly accessible directory but somewhere within the installation it thinks it is on the old directory.

Where are the configurations pointing to the old directory so that i can change them?

Visit Mint in its new location with ?movedadded to the url. That will take care of updating all the internal pointers. Directly modifying Mint’s internal configuration is never recommended.

Shaun,

That was disgustingly simple!!! I am well-impressed with Mint’s simplicity with regards to installing peppers and this change ?moved trick which i just did.

Well done!
