Uniques down vs. Visits with Mint 2

I just upgraded to Mint 2.04 (from Mint 1). I uploaded the new mint and inserted my new license key just a couple of minutes after 2:00pm Central time.

During a typical day on our site we get between a hundred and two hundred unique visitors per hour between 10AM and 10PM, and the stats in the table prior to 2PM reflect this. Also, we might typically have between 400 and 1000 visits each hour during the same time frame. The relationship between visits and unique visitors averages about 4 to 1, but during the first hour Mint 2 was running, the ratio was about 10 to 1. (501 visits, 49 unique visitors). On an hour by hour basis, I’ve seen some variation in the ratio of visits to unique visitors, but this first hour with Mint 2 seems more significant than just a statistcal swing.

Has anyone else seen this happen, or can anyone explain what could be causing this? The 3PM hourly stats also appear to be in a similar range…fewer uniques vs. visits than we typically see.

Thanks Shaun. I’ve replaced the files. I’ll check in a couple of hours to see if things go back to normal.

Thanks. The numbers seem like they’re back to normal.
