All panes take up maximum width

My panes are all collapsed by default. When I click on any tab in any pane, it loads makes the pane jump down below any panes that come before it and it takes up the maximum width of my browser.

In the demo of Mint on mimeoverse.com, I noticed that the panes at the top of columns have a class of “pane-column.” My panes do not have this. Is there a setting that I’m missing?

My display settings are as follows:

Vanilla Mint style Maximum of 18 rows per pane Show secondary info Stagger pane loading Collapse vertical whitespace between panes Alternte rows on panes

Changing these settings doesn’t seem to make Mint display in columns. Note that “Fix pane height” and “Enable single” column mode are not checked.

I appreciate any help that anyone can give me.

I’m also getting this error in the Chrome console when Mint loads:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'innerHTML' of undefined
 SI.Mint.loadTab
 SI.Mint.loadPane
 SI.Mint.staggerPaneLoading
 window.onload

It seems that SI.Mint.panes is empty (on purpose?) when this is called, so pane_id and eventually tab are also undefined. Perhaps this is related to the layout issues?

Disabling mod_pagespeed seemed to fix this. Are there known issues with using mod_pagespeed with Mint?
