Help! Periodic Mint SQL database corruption possibly related to auto-optimization?

For the past month, I had experienced two incidences of database corruption and data loss whereby the mint_visit SQL database table would get corrupted spontaneously and could not be repaired. The only recourse was to restore from a previous backup.

Technical support at my hosting machine dug deep into the issue and suggested that it was related to high server load imposed by Mint during some auto-optimization procedures done by the app. Further, I was pointed to a previous post on this forum that seemed to be explaining a similar problem: http://haveamint.com/forum/troubleshoot … le_queries

Can someone please help me to make sense of this and on how to prevent this corruption problem?

In this unpleasant situation you may try sqlrepairsoft.com It can solve out troubles with sql files up to 16TB. The utility doesn’t modify source data during recovering. It starts under low system requirements.
