Pepper Uninstall buttons don't work in Safari?

Hi All,

I don’t think this is noted anywhere else, but I’m having a minor “AJAXy” problem — the “Uninstall” button doesn’t work in the pepper preferences under Safari. (It works under Firefox and even newer WebKit versions). Am I the only one seeing this?

I think my only non-standard Safari aspect is that I have “Safari Extender” running.

They work fine here in Safari 2.0.4 (419.3) with Saft and Stand installed (haven’t tried Extender). They should display a JavaScript alert/confirmation when clicked.

Nope, definitely doesn’t work (but as I said, does with Firefox or webKit browser..) and all the other ajaxy features do seem to work, but i generally do have trouble getting JS alerts to work in all web apps with my safari setup. It’s clearly not a mint problem, but any advice would be great!

For what it’s worth, it does indeed appear to be a Safari Extender problem (which is otherwise a wonderful product, by the way). I’ve contacted the author, Ricardo Batista.
