In the Outbound Links pepper, the second line (“From”) has an encoding problem. If the page title has Spanish characters (in my case), they display as question marks.
Can this be fixed easily?

Please post an example link to a page exhibiting this problem.
Outbound links from this page: http://stormymondays.com/rainydays/2008 … o-mas.html
The title is displayed as “Torrents: qu son y cmo usarlos para bajar…”
Do you encounter this problem in the Pages pane? The same escaping method (both client- and server-side) is used for both. Does this problem affect all outbound links with Spanish characters or just some? Also, compare your visits and outbound tables and make sure that the encoding on the latter matches the former.
The problem appears only in the Outbound Links pepper, and not anywhere else in Mint, either official or third party pepper.
It affects all links, not just some, and only the “From” line behind the link, not the main line.
Every table in the Mint db is encoded as “utf8_unicode_ci”.
