Does anyone know a way to record views on a HTML5 video element using Mint?

hmm, i know with google analytics you can create a virtual page that the browser will have to visit before viewing the video. i’m not sure if mint is compatible with these custom events though..
I was thinking about adding a custom event to the play button that I am using to drive the video. Is there support for providing custom data to Mint or is this a case of building a pepper?
a custom even will work with google analytics but i don’t know if mint has that provision. you might need to build a pepper to support that.
