I am paying attention to my daily unique hits. They are always above 2,000. But when I look at the monthly view, I see 48,000 something.
Theoratically, the monthly stat should at least be 60,000. turbofsi.net/mint
Stats not adding up
are you looking for the total for “visits” or “absolute unique” visits? there’s a difference.
there’s an faq (http://www.haveamint.com/faqs/miscella … tal_unique) that explains that it’s not a good idea to add your “unique” visits together to calculate daily or other totals.
Well I am looking at daily uniques and monthly uniques.
The same logic applies to daily vs. monthly as well.
Say I visited your site Monday and Tuesday this month. I would count as one unique visitor on Monday and one unique visitor on Tuesday, but I would only count as one unique visitor for the entire month of June.
Think of it more as unique visitors per day vs. unique visitors per month.
