Using Mint to track a PDF

Hello,

I use Mint on my site and love it. I’m about to release an eBook and I want to use Mint to track downloads of my eBook PDF file. Ideally I would like to link directly to the PDF. Any ideas how I can track that with Mint?

I tried the Downloads Pepper 2.23, but I’m not seeing the files. I want to hit an url like http://mysite/mybook.pdf without ever loading my HTML page and have it tracked. Does Downloads Pepper 2.23 or any other pepper support that?
