www redirects

I’m redirecting my blog’s URLs to ones with a www prefix (using .htacess) and it is working fine. Even in search results, it is the www URL that shows up. Directly-entered non-www URLs successfully redirect to the www version.

But why is Mint showing non-www URLs being accessed? See Recent Popular Posts (http://www.ipatrix.com/archives) that show non-www links. List generated using MintPopularPostsWP plugin. But same is true of any link displayed in the Mint Dashboard.

This problem started after I moved hosting providers.

Take a look at the Default Pepper’s Preferences. Did you heart from http://no-www.org ? : )

So should the Trim www and index.* from urls be checked or unchecked to display www URLs? i’m kinda wary of the May break some urls message.

And yes, I’ve gotten lot of heat for my love of www but I’m sticking to it :)

Till,

Unchecking the box helped. Thanks.
