From the looks of it, this is impossible. Does anyone have ideas of how this could be done?

Hmm, I don’t know if this is possible.

Slightly off topic but I’m not sure where to enter <?php $BirdFeeder->seed(get_the_title_rss(), get_permalink()); ?> in WP’s rss, rss2 and rdf files.

A simple instruction on where to put them would be appreciated. Thanks.

From the included README.txt:

Each
in your feed has a
element. Replace the contents of the
element with the following:

I feel lousy now for overlooking that part. Apologizes for that :(

No harm.

Does someone already has some experience with Bird Feeder and FeedBurner? Does is work or not?

From what I’ve seen, you’ll be able to track seeds, with visits only coming from feedburner.

Hey Shaun, I’m new to Mint (just bought it today) and was wondering, what does Mint’s feed tracking look like? (I’m thinking if I start using it I could ditch Feedburner… would that be accurate?) Is there something that a basic feedburner account offers that Bird Feeder doesn’t (or couldn’t) offer?

Has anything more come to light on the subject of using Feedburner with Bird Feeder?

I ditched my Feedburner for Bird Feeder, and I am very pleased. I did not have the upgraded account on Feedburner, so I am not really sure what statistics that provides, but really the only reason I was using Feedburner was so that I can see how many subscribers I had. The Bird Feeder provides how many subscribers I have based on feed (Atom, RSS, RSS2) which is pretty nice to know, as well as displaying the Seeds (what was clicked). The only feature that I would like to see is the ability to view all subscribers regardless of feed in the Feeds pane. The Seeds pane has this ability. I always thought the live hits part of Feedburner was kind of pointless, and you can track your visitors via the Secret Crushes pepper anyway. Feedburner also has a section to view what your feed is being used for. Mine was not being used at all, but I would guess this would be if it is being syndicated or something like that. It would be nice if there was a pepper to see this information.

designoahu, try checking the “Group different formats of the same feed” option in the BirdFeeder prefs. That will group feeds setup like Name (Format) into just Name. I use it and it works perfectly.
