Mint and Ego app for iPhone

My Ego app will still display Mint statistics even if there have been no visits for today. So if I had two visits yesterday, and no visits today, it will still display two visits today, instead of 0. If I switch to visits in the current hour, it will also display two visits, instead of 0.

I was told by the developer: “Please make sure:

  1. Your timezone is set correctly in your Mint preferences on your website
  2. That the numbers in Ego are actually different than Mint is reporting

This could be a Mint issue. Ego simply requests the numbers from Mint, it doesn’t keep them in any way, so it only reports what Mint gives it. “

I’ve double-checked both these things, and yes, the time zone is set correctly, and the numbers in Ego are different from what Mint is giving me for the day.

So at this point, I’m wondering if this is a Mint issue (as the developer says) or maybe something with the way the Ego Helper pepper communicates with the Mint database.

Mint doesn’t tell Ego anything. The Ego Helper Pepper is responsible for reporting Mint numbers to Ego. I’m afraid I’m going to have to send you back to Ego’s developer.
