Encoded URLs Displaying?

I installed Mint last night for my new site and have two things I’m unsure about.

1) In the referrers column I’m seeing encoded URLs.

Example: 1Three%20%7C%20News%20%7C%201Three%20Grand%20%Opening!

Should be: 1Three | News | 1Three Grand Opening!

Is this something to do with the way my site is coded or is this a Mint problem?

2) Not sure if this is supposed to happen or not, but the referrers column is displaying internal links as referrers. Shouldn’t this column only display external links that are coming into my site?

This can be closed. Looks like mod_rewrite was the problem. Set RewriteEngine Off in a new .htaccess file inside of the mint directory and the URLs are now being recorded correctly.

Thanks! Helped me before I posted.

This does not work for me. I have a Drupal install, and turning off mod_rewrite for the directory makes Mint inaccessible. It throws a 500 error.

I’ve looked for solutions elsewhere that might help, but to no avail. Any help from the Apache gurus is most welcome.

Check your host’s documentation for disabling mod_rewrite per directory if the above does not work.
