Number of daily Total Hits in Overview doesn't match Crushes readout

Hiya,

I’ve just noticed today (and maybe it’s happened before, not sure) that the number of total hits for today so far as displayed in the Overview (and the Mint dashboard widget) does not match the number of page hits since midnight in the Crushes pepper.

Screenshot here: http://myglasseye.net/stuff/minterror.png

It’s midday where I am so everything after and including the crush from 12 hours ago is ‘today’. As you can see the total hits is 24 and the unique hits is 9, but the Crushes pepper only shows 10 hits. It is apparently registering multiple hits by visitors though, so where are the other 14 hits in this instance?

Many thanks, Owen

Secret Crush tracks sessions independent of the Visits pane using cookies. If the visitor has cookies disabled Secret Crush will ignore them (otherwise you would have a bunch of single page sessions for the same IP) but Mint will still count the hit and increment the total Visits (but not the unique since it can’t make a determination either way).
