Sessions registered as hours instead of minutes

Anyone else getting this strange behaviour?

Secret Crush session

The same session for only one visitor are counted as active, and time between pageviews being as long as hours, even though I have “Session ends after 15 minutes of inactivity”.

This issue doesn’t display itself with any other visitors, who timeout when under 15 minutes.

Is this only happening with a certain visitor? I’ve never seen this before but I guess it could happen if that visitor’s system clock was set to some time in the past (say to circumvent the time limit on some unsophisticated trial software). Cookies wouldn’t expire after the session time limit and return visits hours or days later would count as part of the same session resulting in hours between pages.

Yep, it’s only with one visitor. Your explanation seems like the most likely possibility. It’s not a major problem, but I thought you should get a heads-up.
