I have just re-installed mint and no referrers are showing in the Referrers panel.
I have deleted all the cookies on my machine and tried to browse my site from a friends link.
The Visits pane updates fine, so does user agents and pages.

Your Mint is returning a “503 Service Temporarily Unavailable” error when trying to record a hit. This could be the result of an overzealous mod_security (have you or your host changed any server settings recently?). Please see this thread.

I am on Dreamhost using the remove www. from url option. I wonder if this also was affectting the stats.
