Yes, Downloads Pepper is broken.

Till,

When changing uri to url in the address bar — the file download works. Unfortunately, it’s your plugin that didn’t update the uri to url, or there’s a major bug in the code.

Sucks that I had to lose my data while troubleshooting this one, but oh well.

And regardless if I uninstall it — it evidently still links the files.

Fun stuff, Till. Thanks!

Screw it. This is the kind of crap that makes me want to uninstall Mint and go with Google Analytics.

Maybe opening another topic would help you. Or maybe making backups before “troubleshooting” something.

I didn’t realize that a back-up of a database will magically correct the issue with the plug-in — which even after un-installing the plug-in the problem persists. How does a back-up correct such an issue, Till? Please enlighten me.

I have no idea what you problem is, apart from this finger-pointing for your own clumsiness or whatever.

I made significant code and database changes in v2.2 and let more than 50 user test my hard work to ensure unproblematic mass updates.
