hey guys,

i have three mint installations but in one installation, the newest update to locations + conflicts with the rest of my mint installation. when i try to update or install the installation, mint stops tracking visitors. anyone else having this issue?

Yes I am having this same issue. If I have Locations+ installed (even disabled) then Mint will not track any stats (except outbound). As soon as I uninstall Locations+ it works again.

Yeah, cool. If one of you grand me FTP access to the pepper folder and a login to your mint installation I could fix this issue.

Yup. I needed to change the permissions on database.dat in the locationsplus folder to get things going again. Hope this helps someone else.

Oh, I’m sorry. I’ve updated the database, but the files was called GeoLiteCity.dat instead of database.dat.

If Mint can’t find the database.dat file it stops tracking.

I’ll fix this in the next release and you only have to rename the .dat file.

started tracking again after disabling the shared memory support on locations+

Was “Shared Memory Support” enabled by default for you all, or did you play around?

I can’t remember if it was enabled by default. I believe it wasn’t, but I twiddled with it enough that I cannot be sure.
