I have tried different peppers, but the install link does not appear under pepper in my preferences pane, even after numerous reloads.

Make sure you are following the instructions in the included README.txt to the letter;
- do not upload the versioned pepper folder eg. upload
peppernamenotpeppername_v100 - make sure you are uploading the pepper folder into a developer folder, eg. upload
peppernametodevelopernamenotpepper.
I’ve installed several peppers (Real Estate, Downloads and User Agent 007).
Install says it instaleld but no panes.
I’ve uploaded the pepername and not the versioned folder name. And, uploaded into a developer folder per instructions.
The name of the peper shows up in the preferences pane and allows you to install. But, does not show up as an actual pane when viewing “mint” for the site.
Tried Safaris and Firefox 3 on my Mac.
Logged out an then in again thinking that might be it.
Any help would be appreciated curtsheller.com/mint

?observe indicates that Mint doesn’t know that those Pepper were installed. Try this. Remove the Mint JavaScript from your site (so Mint isn’t tracking any pages), then install the Pepper and add the JavaScript back. It is possible (however unlikely) that someone hit your site during the install and recording their visit overwrote the addition of the new Pepper.
