iPhone pepper layout

Dear Shaun/all,

I really like the iPhone pepper, but I’m slightly dissatisfied with one layout aspect: while it’s loading, the top “visits” pepper shows up as it does in a standard browser, with two columns (Since/Past day and Past Week/Month/Year) and it looks fine. However, once the loading finishes, it spreads out into a long single-column (Since/day/week/month/year)

Is there any way to get the two-column behaviour for this pane?

Also, it seems to take a lot longer to load on the iPhone than on a computer browser!

Not on my Mint it doesn’t. My numbers are too big.

It’s an iPhone remember, not a Core 2 Duo.

Aha, I didn’t realize this was just because of my low-traffic, unpopular blog!…

Fair enough, although I guess it seemed like it was a loading problem, rather than a rendering one.

Thanks!

It’s not that, it just does not look right, its too squashed.

This will depend on how many pepper you have installed and your connection on the iPhone (EDGE/WiFi?) as well as a number of other factors; do you have Stagger pane loading on in Preferences?

Try rotating your iPhone/iPod touch 90 degrees if you really absolutely must have the two column Visits view. Sam is correct, once your monthly visits hit 5 or 6 figures there isn’t room for two columns in a portrait layout.
