Mint Viewer Won't load after Pepper Upgrade

I updated my Mint installation with Ronaldhefts latest Peppers and my Mint page is now inaccessible. I’ve tried clearing cache, cookies, and I upgraded to 2.11 thinking there might be some compatibility problems with the new peppers and my old version of mint (2.08 or so, not that old). I was careful not to touch the config directory.

I disabled the Javascript include prior to upgrading.

When I load my stats at nyquistcapital.com/mint I get the following message:

array_flip($translationTable); return strtr($string, $translationTable); } }

I tried several ?query commands without any success. I cannot access the preferences page. I looked at the site through an FTP browser and all of the needed files appear there.

The install appears seriously hosed. I removed and re-installed the new RonaldHeft peppers (comments and feedburner) to no avail.

Any ideas what to do next?

One thing to add above. I did use the ?errors query and got the following message.

array_flip($translationTable); return strtr($string, $translationTable); } } Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in /home/1178/domains/nyquistcapital.com/html/mint/app/lib/pepper.php on line 506

Have you tried reuploading/mint/app/lib/pepper.php? Perhaps that file got corrupted during update. What are you using to upload the files? The FTP portion of some WYSIWYG editors can mess up PHP files.

I used SmartFTP. I did refresh, but the whole install died before I even touched these files.

I just refreshed the files. Thing now appear to be working. Very weird.

I can see stats now but visits aren’t being counted. The debugger pepper is showing visitors, all colored red.

Go ahead and email me your debugger url.

I refreshed all Mint and pepper files I touched. Visits are now being recorded except my preferences page is all messed up now. I can’t get to the debugger URL.

I have opened the stats up. Perhaps you can see it.

The Preference issue is usually caused by having a duplicate Pepper class.php file in your /mint/pepper/ directory.

Everything appears to be working now. The problem was definitely related to the FTP software and file management.

THank you for your help and I am sorry for wasting your time.
