tracking hits to mint?

I just got v2 installed and setup, and everything seems to be working great. The only problem is that mint seems to be tracking hits to my mint pages. I don’t remember if v1 did this, but for me its a bit annoying. I like to check my mint from all over the place, and don’t want those hits showing up in all my stats. Is there any way to make this stop?

Create a .htaccess file in your /mint/ directory with the following:

php_value auto_prepend_file none

No. But don’t worry Mint only tracks hits to it’s login screen. Once you’re logged in you’re invisible to Mint whether you have the “Ignore my visits” cookie set or not.

Sam’s suggestion only applies if you are using the advanced .htaccess method to add Mint to the pages of your site.
