Dear Shaun,

With regards to the page shown @ http://haveamint.com/forum/, i think you should remove that part of the statement which reads, “If you have a question,”

I think it would be more effective if it read…

“Everyone tends to get a little grumpy answering the same questions over and over again. Please search before posting.”

It would, in my opinion, be a more effective statement.

I have two issues with that. One, that would create a typographic widow. Two, it would make sense to search before posting a response to someone else’s question. ;)

True!!! Didn’t look at it from that angle.

By the way, sorry for the late response… its tough participating in a forum which doesn’t notify your posts have been replied to.

On that note, we are developing our own forum and it would be very nice of you to advise on what the problem you are having is so that we can note it as well.

What i mean to say is, “What are technical issues which prevent you from adding instant email notifications when someone responds to a post? It would be a good heads-up for us!”

Thanks.

Not wanting to butt in too much here, but I believe Shaun has mentioned in the past that its more of a time constraint, in that he is busy working and developing Mint itself, as opposed to adding new features to the forum.
